You can’t escape who you are in the end
Here’s my one political post out of 50
For those of us who actually thought for ourselves in the last two presidential elections, we all knew that the Chimp in Chief would eventually crash and burn with his ludicrous ideas and back scratching of all his buddies. Big GW is at an approval rating of 29%. He’s within striking distance of Tricky Dick’s all time low of 24%.
All of you die hard proponents of moral values and integrity who still think GWB is a good president, I’d like to ask you how deep is the hole that your head is buried in. He’s a fucking joke. He’s a moron. He’s the worst leader ever.
“But you’re a commie liberal tattooed asshole lawryde. You hate all Republicans and Conservatives”
For the most part, that’s true. It’s because most of them are hypocritical assholes. I do like John McCain though. He’s a Conservative, but he’s not an idiot. He can form thoughts and sentences on his own and is driven by logic and reason, not faith and stupid.
Anyway, here’s something funny
APPROVAL RATINGS OF VARIOUS THINGS
31% Third-World Dictators
Salami Breath
The "Lost another loan to Ditech" Guy
30% Omarosa
Telemarketers
Public Bathrooms
29% Camilla Parker Bowles
George W. Bush
Hangnails
28% Spam Email
The Duke University Men's Lacrosse Team
Jar-Jar Binks
27% Hurricane Katrina
Ebola

No, John McCain has joined the ranks of conservatives unable to form complete sentences because Dr. Dobson's cock is in their mouths.

The exact reason liberals never win... right there: Name Calling
So what is the liberal movement's plan if they do get the white house or senate back? I wanna hear the plan! What is it? You all are better than Republicans. Is that it? That's the plan. Despite GWB's shortcomings and limited speech patterns the man is very freaking consistent which many, mnay politicians have no desire to be. Why is it the Senate also chose to go to war with the same evidence that was presented to the President? Also, what is it exactly that makes the President such a bad President? 29%? IS that it? Sounds like a popularity contest to me doesn't it? I didn't know it was a popularity contest. What are the ludicous ideas? Which buddies is he back scratching? When did he crash and burn? Some misguided liberal media poll? Why is someone who supports a president a moron?
Oh please, please, please, run Hillary out there in 2008. That'd be a great move for the country. We so need that to happen so the Republicans can, you guessed it ,win again in a convincing victory.
Do I sound like a hypocrit to you?
(Now watch what ensues)

Feingold is my man for 2008. Hilary doesn't have what it takes and we shouldn't be in such a hurry to push for her just because she's a woman. Feingold has been consistant and smart and is well liked by the people of Wisconsin. He's proven to be moral, bi-partisan and a snappy dresser.
As far as Bush goes I feel he consistently has proposed actions that were rash and poorly thought out. Many of his initiatives have not benefited the vast majority of citizens. I also feel like he's choosing to fight fights that shouldn't be center stage (like tougher enforcement of US citizens visiting Cuba) and forgetting about things that really matter. With a wife whose a librarian one might think we'd have seen a hefty increase in literacy rates.
Oh, and No Child Left Behind is a joke.

“what is it exactly that makes the President such a bad President”
Alright:
1: The way he has/is handling Iraq. Regardless of if it was right or wrong to go in there in the first place, it’s a mess. Each and every tax payer has put over $2000 into that mess, and there are thousands of dead American’s and it’s still a mess. It wasn’t handled correctly. His general’s told him they needed more ground troops to secure the country and he didn’t listen. He’s Commander in Chief. It’s his fault if things go wrong. He needs to make sure his people are making the correct decisions. You’d think he’d know how to handle war with all of his service…. Mmmm shouldn’t bring that up should I (Another cheap shot, but the above point is valid)
2: Katrina: Yeah, shit happens, but I thought after 9/11 we had plans for unexpected disasters. Another “F” for how he handled that fiasco. Local governments can only do so much, but when a disaster gets to a certain point, they DO need the help of the federal government. States do it all the time when they have flooding or droughts. It’s called a state of emergency.
3: Aren’t Conservative’s supposed to be fiscal? We now have the largest Federal deficit EVER. Steve, your child is going to have to pay that back. We’re borrowing money from foreign banks. That’s not good policy. Under Suck Me Off Bill we had a budget surplus. We could go out on a Friday and get drunk and get a few lap dances and we’d still be OK. Not now.
But 9/11 happened, you’re going to say. That’s a bullshit copout answer. The Great Depression happened, and FDR figured some shit out. War’s have happened in the past and great leaders have figured things out. He’s not a great leader.

1. Your precious President Carter is the one that screwed the pooch with his non-violent attitude. If he'd have jumped on Iran in the beginning these arab guys might have left us alone. Iraq is not the cause of 9/11 but dude, we were pussies for years. At Bush II did something.
2. Shit happens. There isn't a constitutional right to care or protection from a natural disaster. I remember a bus yard of school busses that didn't move. If you hear on the news a big hurricane is coming and you see the forecast with the huge red radar blob off the coast of your city, you fucking move!
3. Fiscal conservatives? FDR? If FDR was so intelligent he would have had the forethought to know that SSI would eventually run out? Old people live longer when they have money! Amazing the state of california has 7.5 billion in extra revenues right now from last years budget.
Are you to tell me that all the debt you have accumulated with your home and credit cards will be paid off before you die so you will not leave it for your kids? Answer: NO!!

"Sounds like a popularity contest to me doesn't it? I didn't know it was a popularity contest."
"Rome is the Mob"... Gladiator
The Presidency is kind of a popularity contest, and obviously you'll never be much over 50% even in the best of times, but 29% is piss poor. People aren't happy and he's not doing anything about it, and if he is, he's not communicating what he's doing so people understand.
There's that communication thing again. I'm firmly convinced that great leaders are great communicators. You need to be able to get your point across to people in a way that they don't feel belittled or taken advantage of. GWB can't do this.
I won't be leaving my children with debt when I die. I'm making equity on my house, and I still pay off more than the debt I accrue.

Stop being a pussy, Steve, go fight for our country.
A lot of people did evacuate - to the sports center. But that was probably their fault for being poor, black, stupid, and lazy.
Yes, W has been very consistent. He's lied to us consistently throughout his presidency. He's been on vacation pretty consistently. He's consistently pandered to those who wish to enforce Christian morality through law. He's consistently broken the law.
Supporting a president doesn't make you a moron. Supporting a president who lies, breaks the law, erodes the barrier between church and state, and spends 1/4 of his time on vacation makes you a moron.

If I could fight for our country I would erica but I have an undescended testicle.
You said:
"But that was probably their fault for being poor, black, stupid, and lazy."
You said it not me... I didn't say that, nor did I imply that. I said people didn't take the warning seriously( er uh, fucking move!). Big freaking difference! If you have ever seen the city of New Orleans or grew up there your whole life, you'd have done some school field trip or had some one show or had driven by these seriously large water pump stations. The pumps turned on when it rained heavily. Everyone there knows this. And when a forecaster tells you it is going to rain more than it ever had and water is going to come over the top of the levee, you freaking move...
Surpising other fact, 68% of NOLA is black and 28% was white. 47% of those killed were black and 41% were white. Seems to me, the poor old black people did much better in Katrina...
So what if he is on vacation? The job isn't 40 hours a week. That job is 24/7, 365 days year. Vacation? Where is he going to go? Cut brush? Funny how world leaders always seem to visit him on his ranch.

I like how my points were ignored.

Russ may be "moral" and a snappy dresser (not sure what that even means... he dresses like any other Senator...), but he is way out on the far left of the party. Far left doesn't win in Iowa or New Hampshire, and it sure doesn't win in the South.
Hillary can at least try to move to the center to pick up votes in the primaries. It's quite phony, but at least she doesn't have the long far left liberal record that Russ has staring her in the face.
I think for the Democrats to win, they need a Southern Governor. Look at the last Democratic Presidents since Kennedy. All Southern Governors.
Northern far left Senators are going to get spanked in the South, and you need the South to win the Presidency IMO.

People did evacuate to the sports center where they then died of dehydration. You have yet to explain this government fuck-up. They did move - they went where they were taken and/or told to go. They were then left to stew in their own filth because The Decider did a piss-poor job of deciding things.
Sometimes people make mistakes, or bad decisions, or sometimes they just run out of luck. But only Republicans say to those people "Have a nice funeral, stupid."
